Match 1
Villa Rockets PFC 4 – 0 Burton Albion Chariots
(H. Mudhir)
(M. Hindley 3)
The Rockets started off the Championship season with a 4-0 win. The team controlled the game really well, as well as playing some good football in the opposition half. The 1st goal by H. Mudhir was an excellent half spin shot, after a pass from the opposite side of the box by T. Marshall. In the 2nd half M. Hindley controlled the game, while scoring 3 different types of goals, the 1st a shot to the opposite corner after receiving pass from a corner by H. Mudhir, his 2nd a direct free kick shot after he was fouled just outside the box, his 3rd was dribbled past the goalkeeper and defender after patiently going back and forth across goal line.
Match 2
WBA Dudley 1 – 3 Villa Rockets PFC
(H. Mudhir 3)
In our 2nd league game of the day, the team won a competitive open match. We played some good football. The team felt they should have scored a couple of more times, not quite finishing off a couple of chances. H. Mudhir was clinical scoring a hat trick following up on his goal in the 1st game. A good start from the team, keeping a good shape and distance, the players communicating with each other and playing as a team.
VILLA ROCKETS PFC: WMPRL League One 2019-2020
Match 1
SGK Able Too PFC 0 – 0 Villa Rockets PFC Lions
The Lions started off their season with a draw. The team played really well, trying to keep their distance and shape for as much of the game as they can. The team was unlucky in a couple of counter attacks. The players defended well, covering for each other when they needed to. The draw was fair result, for a couple of players playing their first competitive games. Something to build on for the team.
