Rockets Lions started off their first game with a good performance and win. After going close early on, the team got the breakthrough goal in first half. The team gained confidence, adding 2 more goals from some well-played set pieces before half time.
The team continued creating chances into the 2nd half, adding 3 more goals, with a couple more through set pieces.

The team’s 2nd game was a much closer game, with both teams cancelling each other out. Lions had a couple of half chances in the half and Teesside were a threat too.
Going into the 2nd half, both teams pushed to make the breakthrough. Lions had a goal cleared off the line by some good last ditch defending.
Lions goal came through some good driving with the ball by M. Hindley. We were unlucky to not make it 2, after an excellent taken kick in by T. Marshall struck the post.
Teesside pushed to get an equaliser, but our defence just held out to get the clean sheet and narrow win.
