Teesside PFC 0 – 0 Villa Rockets PFC

The Premiership team got their regional league campaign off with draw. The team gave debuts to 2 new players, H. Mudhir promoted up from the championship team and D. Ball joining from another Midlands team.

The team was happy with the draw, in what they felt was a tough game, with each team having a few chances between them.

 

 

Villa Rockets PFC 2 – 0 WBA Throstles

The team got their first win of the season against WBA Throstles. The team had control of the game and got the breakthrough midway through the first half through S. Rice, who hammered in a shot from the team’s corner set up by D. Kay.

They continued trying to push for a second goal, from set pieces. WBA Throstles were still a threat on the counter, but H. Mudhir played very well in goal. The team got their second goal from another corner, scored by A. Ali, set up by D. Kay.

 

Villa Rockets PFC 3 – 0 Nottingham PFC

The team got their second win of the opening day of fixtures in their third game of the day. D. Ball opened up his account with the team scoring in the first half, with an assist by J. Morley. Going into the second half, D. Ball added a second goal of the game, assisted by S. Rice. The team got their third goal of the game through A. Ali.

 

Overall, the team was happy with their start of their premiership campaign, earning 7 points from 9 and playing well from game to game.
